City of Four brings an original brand of modern groove-based jazz, funk, and fusion to music venues across Boston and New England. A composers collective primarily featuring original compositions, the band's current lineup since 2022 is Mike Caudill, Cat Tremblay, Eric Falter, and Steve Wilkinson. The band's latest release is Vistas (2024).
City of Four formed in 2011 in Amherst, MA where its founding members were studying music together at UMass. While based in Western MA, the group received an "Outstanding Performance" recognition from DownBeat Magazine's student music awards as a Blues/Pop/Rock group, and some of the original music in its early catalog was recognized by ASCAP and MIX Magazine

Yasmin Tal
Composer, pianist, music director, and music educator Yasmin Tal explores community through music.
Her projects include performances of orchestral, chamber, choral, and solo music along with compositions for film, dance, electro-acoustic, and sound installations; in recent years she has developed a unique style of performing based on unusual notation, audience participation and energetic, risk-taking sound.
Yasmin earned her B.Mus and M.mus in Composition from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, while also completing a B.A. in Linguistics and East Asian studies from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem

Linda J. Chase
inda J. Chase is a composer, ecophilosopher, and flutist. Her music weaves elements of chamber music, jazz and contemporary improvisation with spoken word and interdisciplinary arts. She has received composition awards from places including the Japan Foundation, Grand Canyon National Park, Kaji Aso Studio, the Morris Graves Institute, Berklee College of Music, Studio Red Top and ASCAP. She is an active member of Landscape Music Composers Network. Linda was born in La Jolla, California and currently resides in the Boston area. Professor Chase currently teaches composition, performance, music and spirituality, ecomusicology, and interdisciplinary arts at Berklee College of Music, and is also an instructor in Contemporary Improvisation at New England Conservatory
