Bassist David Wong was born and raised in New York City, and is a graduate of the LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and the Performing Arts, where he developed his passion for music under the tutelage of tuba master Bob Stewart. He graduated from the Juilliard School in classical music in 2004 and has studied with Orin O’Brien (New York Philharmonic), Ron Carter, Ben Wolfe, and John Clayton. From 2003 to 2004, as part of the Eric Reed Trio, Wong performed in Switzerland, Scotland, the Hollywood Bowl (Los Angeles), the Algonquin Hotel (New York City), and with Jazz at Lincoln Center, as well as at many other venues worldwide

A veteran of the New York City jazz scene for over 20 years, bassist Bill Moring has established a reputation as one of the city's most in demand players. The versatile musician has proven himself equally adept at anchoring the big bands of legends Count Basie and Woody Herman, jammin' jazz/funk and beyond with the Dave Stryker/Steve Slagle quartet or stretching harmonic and rhythmic boundaries with John Hart and Chris Potter. Bill was born in Ft. Wayne, Indiana in 1958. After high school, he attended Indiana State University for a year, also playing in cellist Hank Roberts group. Andy Rice grew up in rural Northern Maine. While growing up, although he didn't have any formal bass or jazz training, he absorbed music from wherever he could. He played at church, in the tiny school concert band, and with various local rock musicians in barns, basements, gymnasiums, bedrooms, and potato fields. He spent all of his spare time copping the style of Red Hot Chilli Peppers bassist Flea and practicing scales and various things he would pick up from bass player magazine. He also participated in the Aroostook Regional Gifted and Talented program where he studied music theory and practice at a local University. Jonah Jonathan has been playing four string instruments since he was ten years old. Jonathan points out, “Actually since age two, if you count strumming on the ukulele back where I’m from in Hawaii.” He was inspired to dedicate himself to music after his grandfather (who played French horn, trumpet, and piano) passed on suddenly just a few days after Jonah’s first orchestra concert. The bassist muses, “Had it not been for my grandfather, I would not be playing bass, let alone music in general. He was a huge inspiration and my first fan.” Jonathan played classical music in the orchestra from 5th grade but never took it too seriously until ninth grade when he found a good teacher
