Equally comfortable on double bass and electric bass, and fitting in any musical situation, from jazz to orchestral, theater to rock bands, Tim has played in a variety of settings and styles all along the Eastern seaboard and internationally. He holds a Master’s Degree in Jazz Studies from The University of the Arts and a Bachelor’s degree in music from Lebanon Valley College. In addition to keeping a busy performing schedule, he is an Adjunct Professor of Music at Lebanon Valley College

Ross MacIntyre

Toronto based acoustic and electric bassist Ross MacIntyre is one of the most sought after professional musicians in Canada. After attending the Berklee College of Music in Boston, he graduated from the University of Toronto’s esteemed jazz program, and has since performed with elite musicians from Canada and around the world. He has toured extensively throughout Europe, North America, Australia, and Asia with renown artists including Matt Dusk, Emilie-Claire Barlow, Jesse Cook, Heather Bambrick, Eliana Cuevas, Elizabeth Shepherd, Kellylee Evans, the Shuffle Demons, and Michael Kaeshammer. From 2000-2003 Ross was the musical director and composer for the Garden Brother’s Circus, and has performed in numerous musical theatre productions with Canstage, Young People's Theatre, and Mirvish Productions

Yuka Tadano

Yuka Tadano is one of the rising talents in the jazz world on both acoustic and electric bass. Born in Ibaraki, Japan, coming from a musical family, she picked up the violin at the early age of 6. She started playing the electric bass at age of 17. While having a successful career in the Japanese music scene, Yuka was eager to pursue jazz and decided to move to the United States in August 2004 to study at the prestigious University of North Texas where she holds a Bachelor's Degree and Master’s degree in jazz studies. Soon after moving to the United States, Yuka switched from being primarily an electric bassist to becoming an acoustic bassist

Yasushi Nakamura

Yasushi Nakamura is praised for imaginative, quicksilver bass lines that deepen the groove. His blend of guitar-like precision and gut-level blues has sparked collaborations with artists such as Wynton Marsalis, Wycliffe Gordon, Toshiko Akiyoshi, Hank Jones, Dave Douglas, Steve Miller, etc. With his charismatic stage presence and artful, hard swinging melodic touch, Nakamura is a first-call performer capturing new audiences and fans around the world.

Born in Tokyo, Nakamura moved to the United States at age 9, and considers both places home. He began with clarinet and tenor saxophone, but his older brother’s study of guitar and drums drove him to pick up the bass. His love of rock and funk aside, the music of Charlie Parker, Ray Brown, Miles Davis were a potent influence on him. Nakamura received a BA in Jazz Performance from Berklee School of Music in 2000, and was awarded a full scholarship to The Juilliard School for his Artist Diploma in 2006. He credits Myron Walden as an early champion, and keeps close ties to Juilliard mentors Victor Goines, Wycliffe Gordon, and Carl Allen, Ben Wolfe all of whom maintain him in their bands.

Modern jazz composer and bassist Mark Wade is open to appreciating and co-creating great music in all its forms. Like Keith Jarrett, Wynton Marsalis and Esperanza Spaulding, he’s not limited by genre. His fourth album shows the breadth of his musicality and inventive compositional style. Called "a living work of modern art" by Downbeat Magazine, the original tracks found on his 2022 album True Stories were inspired by a wide range of influences, drawing on themes from composers such as Miles Davis, Charles Mingus and Igor Stravinsky. The result is a unique expression of jazz linking past to present.
