William Strickler
William Strickler is a bassist, bandleader, composer and educator based in Columbus, Ohio. Since graduating with a Bachelor in Music from the Capital University Conservatory of Music, he has played across the country for a variety of local and national artists, including Grammy-award winning pop singer Daya. Besides his work as a sideman, Strickler leads Waves De Aché, a project mixing his upbringing on American jazz, rock and hip-hop with his love of Cuban and other styles of Latin music. Waves De Aché released their debut studio album in spring of 2019, featuring eight original compositions.

Joris Teepe

Bassist Joris Teepe (1962) is the first jazz musician from The Netherlands to be able to make it in New York. Arriving in New York in 1992 with just his bass and a suitcase, he took lessons with Ron Carter, quickly met many musicians and started to work a lot. A year later he recorded his first CD, with a band co-led by Don Braden and featuring Cyrus Chestnut, Carl Allen and Tom Harrell. From that point everything really took off for Joris and he became a bassist in great demand. He has been working with the "who-is-who in Jazz", such as Benny Golson, Sonny Fortune, Rashied Ali, Billy Hart and Randy Brecker

Doug Ebert
Jazz bassist and composer Doug Ebert's musical aspiration began at age four when he attended Mercyhurst Center for the Arts in Erie, PA. Over the course of his childhood he studied guitar, baritone horn and piano. As an undergraduate at Marquette University he started playing the bass violin and studying jazz theory at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music. For over ten years, Ebert was a fixture in Milwaukee's jazz community, appearing regularly at clubs such as the Jazz Estate and larger venues such as Summerfest and Jazz In The Park. In June of 2007, Ebert released his first album "Times Change" which features his compositions played by several of his Milwaukee bandmates

With over 3,000 performances taking him to all seven continents (yes, even Antarctica), Matt Jung is an in-demand bass player on both electric and acoustic instruments. Matt grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, playing the piano, oboe, and saxophone before ever picking up a bass at age 12. But once he did, he was hooked. While still in high school, Matt and his ska band had a minor radio hit and were played on radio stations throughout the country. At 17, Matt moved to Los Angeles to study jazz bass at the University of Southern California with John Clayton.
