Rickard Malmsten

Rickard Malmsten was born in Landskrona/Sweden on March 16, 1974 into a big family of 7 brothers and sisters. Starting on Drums at the age of 7, Rickard switched to bass guitar at age 13. Growing up surrounded by music of the likes of The Beatles and The Beach Boys setting the foundations for his musical interest, deciding to give music a shot he enrolled at Åhus music school in 1990 and graduated 1993. In search of a bigger city with a richer musical background Rickard moved to Los Angeles and continued his studies at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood. Rickard have since been a seasonal traveller and have up to date been living and working as a musician in 5 continents

Archie Ajay Jackson

Born: January 19, 1969

Started playing Bass Guitar at the age of 16. A self-taught musician, performed first professional show at the age of 18 with older brother Miki L’s Blues Band. During this time they opened up for several signed Blues artists such as Bobby Rush, Lefty Diz , Denise LaSalle. Ajay's first recording experience was with Blues artist Milwaukee Slim on Blue Moon Records. Ajay played Bass Guitar on several tracks on the album titled “Lemmon Avenue.” under stage name Junior M. Later he started venturing off into different genres of music and joined several local original Music only bands in the Twin Cities Banther, Shagg , Curbfeelers , Red Veda, Fresh water etc

Phil has been a musician for over 45 years. He plays drums, bass, keyboards, and guitars. Phil's early influences that pointed him toward the Jazz world include Chuck Mangione, Pat Metheny, Yellowjackets, Spyro Gyra, Tim Weisberg, Harry Connick Jr, and the Bob Mintzer Big Band. Johannes Zetterberg

Johannes Zetterberg (a native of Stockholm, Sweden) was born on November 17, 1985. Growing up in a musical family, he was exposed to a lot of different music at an early age. "Well, being that my father's a countertenor with a soft spot for Oscar Peterson, I guess I quickly learned to appreciate classical music & jazz. On the other hand, there were groups & artists like Stevie Wonder, Earth, Wind & Fire, Michael Jackson, Toto, Chicago & lots of others, all of which I found on my mother's mixtapes. It was like discovering a gold mine with all kinds of cool music, ranging from the hits of the 60's to the boy bands of the 90's! So yeah, it got pretty diverse right from the get-go." Sting

Born: October 2, 1951

Born 2 October 1951, in Wallsend, north-east England, Gordon Sumner's life started to change the evening a fellow musician in the Phoenix Jazzmen caught sight of his black and yellow striped sweater and decided to re-christen him Sting. Sting paid his early dues playing bass with local outfits The Newcastle Big Band, The Phoenix Jazzmen, Earthrise and Last Exit, the latter of which featured his first efforts at song writing. Last Exit were big in the North East, but their jazz fusion was doomed to fail when punk rock exploded onto the music scene in 1976. Stewart Copeland, drummer with Curved Air, saw Last Exit on a visit to Newcastle and while the music did nothing for him he did recognise the potential and charisma of the bass player
