Christian de Mesones

Born: July 11, 1961

Christian made his debut on the national stage in 2006 performing at the Capital Jazz Festival. His band, Groove Skool was chosen from 50 entries to compete against up and coming artists such as Ken Ford, Matt Marshak and Ragan Whiteside. Groove Skool went on to release "Limited Edition” which yielded a top 10 most requested song, "Latin Jive". The band also sold out the legendary Blues Alley Jazz and Supper CLub in Washington, DC, and played large outdoor events such as the Lake Arbor Jazz Festival in Mitchellville, Maryland, and the 2nd Street Festival in Richmond, Virginia, both with crowds of over six thousand in attendance

Dan Krimm

Born: 1955

Dan Krimm began studying music formally with classical violin lessons (and brief study on piano as well) while in elementary school in Ann Arbor, Michigan, in the 60s. He concentrated on violin through high school, also picking up acoustic guitar informally in junior high.

While in college at Princeton in the 70s, he got hooked by the contemporary developments in jazz, especially including Chick Corea's 'Return to Forever' group and a host of artists recording for ECM Records. In 1975, he bought his first electric bass, and began learning the instrument, the jazz form and improvisation, and composition.

Snow Owl

Born: July 1, 1977

Juan Garcia-Herreros, also known by his stage name "Snow Owl", is a world- renowned electric bassist. With his special instrument, a six-string Contra Bass Guitar, he has performed with world famous stars - including several Grammy award winners and nominees ( Elton John, Al Jarreau, Spanish Harlem Orchestra and Christina Aguilera ). For his own music, he has been honored with numerous prestigious awards. His work and virtuosity with the Contra Bass Guitar has been received with the highest recognition from international bass and music publications.

Mai Leisz

Born: May 5, 1988

Mai Leisz (pronounced Lease) is a bassplayer and composer from the shadowland of the North: post-soviet country, Estonia, where she was born and raised. In 2010 she made the move to Sweden where she honed her craft as an electric bass player and composer. She started gaining wider exposure with her own jazz- fusion group MaiGroup as well as freelancing with different jazz bands and pop artists. Her tireless work ethic, melodic bass playing and versatility has raised her name among the world’s top musicians. Mai is hailed as a music chameleon, moving effortlessly from pop, folk and country to jazz and blues. In June 2015 she had couple of days off touring and was busking in the old town Stockholm with a veteran singer-songwriter Doug Seegers, when one of her favorite musicians in the world, multi- instrumentalist Greg Leisz - on tour with Jackson Browne - happened to walk by
