Mason Brothers Quintet

Brad and Elliot Mason hail from Norwich, England, a quiet city 100 miles north of London. Their father, Barry Mason, a trumpet/trombone player and teacher, and their mother, Christine Vance, a jazz vocalist, introduced the young brothers early on to such greats as Dizzy Gillespie, Frank Rosolino, Duke Ellington, Miles Davis and John Coltrane. While only in their teens, Brad and Elliot became highly skilled in jazz improvisation and they were soon renowned for their maturity and musicality. Alone, each musician is outstanding, but together, the brothers' almost psychic connection creates improvisational magic

Junior Walker & the All Stars
Active since:
Junior Walker & the All Stars will forever be remembered for the huge R&B hit of 1965, “Shotgun.” This song was a showcase for the honking tenor sax playing of Junior Walker, who carried on the instrumental R&B style made popular in the 1950’s. Born Autry DeWalt in Blythesville, Arkansas in 1931, he was raised in South Bend, Indiana, and was playing the saxophone in high school. He was soon proficient enough to start his first band The Jumping Jacks; at this time he also picked up the stage name of Junior Walker.
