Eric McGarry
Eric McGarry is a guitarist, composer, and educator based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
McGarry is a graduate of the University of the Arts with a Master of Music in Jazz Studies. Prior to completing his Master of Music, McGarry earned a Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance with Honors, and a Minor in Music Business, Entrepreneurship, and Technology from the University of the Arts.
McGarry has studied with prominent guitarists Dave Allen, Matt Davis, Tim Motzer, Kevin Hanson, Mike Kennedy, and Ben O’Neill. While attending UArts, McGarry held the guitar chair for the award winning Z Big Band, under the direction of Matt Gallagher.

Peter Ponzol
Peter is a well-known American jazz saxophonist. He grew up in the Philadelphia area and had the good fortune to study with some of the teachers of the great players such as John Coltrane, Benny Golson, Wayne Shorter, Hank Mobley and many other greats.
Peter spent time in Miami, and San Francisco before settling in NYC in the 70's, where he was a very active jazz and studio player. After receiving a National Endowment for the Arts Jazz Performance Grant in 1977 he recorded his first solo album, Prism, and began playing in Europe. He received a grant from the German Academic Exchange Service in 1980 to come to Germany as a visiting artist. He moved to Germany in 1981 where he remained until returning to the US in 1993. While in Germany he was often a guest with the Radio Frankfurt Jazz Ensemble and played in many European Jazz clubs and festivals.

For more than 30 years he has appeared at festivals, theaters and venues all over the world, such as the Rouge Cabaret Festival (Paris), Villa Celimontana Jazz Fest (Rome), Odeon of Herodes Atticus (Athens), Secret Garden Fest (U.K.), and the Doha Jazz Festival (Qatar) - his own highlights, though, are gigs in New Orleans and jamming at a funeral in Benin, West Africa!
He had performed and recorded with the cult British trio The Tiger Lillies, New Orleans singer Meschyia Lake, Greek singer-songwriter Dionysis Savvopoulos, the great American Jazz saxophonist Alex Foster (Miles Davis, Charles Mingus), the Balafon master Mamadou Diabate (Burkina Faso), Blaine L. Reininger from Tuxedomoon (U.S.), Marc Collin from Nouvelle Vague (FR) and Xavi Turull from Ojos de Brujo (SP).

He explored a range of musical instruments during this period, developing a strong affinity for those in the lowest register. Jeff Lopez
born and raised in New York City, He has been playing bass for over 45 years and is an accomplished composer and arranger.
Jeff is also an accomplished bandleader, composer, and arranger. This is evident on his first two CD releases, Sun And The Rain 1998 and Jeff Lopez-Jazz Composer, as well as numerous Jazz Ambassador recordings. Jeff’s compositions have appeared in various film and network TV productions.
Jeff’s professional career has included performing and touring that have taken him around the globe, including a 20-year tenure as the bass player of the U.S. Army Jazz Ambassadors, He has toured in 35 countries and all of 50 states in the USA. Some performance highlights were his two orchestral appearances at New York City’s legendary Carnegie Hall.
