Antykwariat Jazz Group was revitalized in 1979, winning a European Jazz Juniors Festival. The group was active in the 80s under the auspices of PSJ Kracow - Poland. Comprised of victors of International, European and Polish jazz music festivals, Antykwariat performed throughout West and East Europe, specially Scandinavian countries. Initially it functioned as a septet (with a brass section). Antykwariat reformed in Chicago in 2006, now performing both original compositions and well-known jazz standards.
