Jakob Rehlinger is a Canadian multi-instrumentalist, composer and improviser living in south Etobicoke, ON. His music is typically somber in tone and draws inspiration from early electronic musicians and ambient new age artists as well as Scandinavian jazz and 20th century minimalist composers. Previously he performed and released music as BABEL until 2018 when he chose to abandon the moniker and operate under his own name. From 1999 to 2019 he ran the boutique micro-label Arachnidiscs Recordings which featured an array of international artists working in similarly textural and adventurous instrumental music styles

Daniel Walzer is an Indianapolis-based multi-instrumentalist, composer, and audio engineer. Originally trained as a percussionist, Walzer’s recording discography includes more than two dozen albums as a session musician, engineer, and producer. A versatile collaborator, Walzer’s performance credits span a wide range of commercial and art music styles and include a five-year stint living in Nashville, TN. As a composer and collaborator, Walzer’s work has been featured at the New York Electroacoustic Music Festival, the International Computer Music Festival, New Music on the Bayou, TUTTI New Music Festival, and labels including Janus Music and Sound and others. Walzer has a BM in Jazz Studies from Bowling Green State University, an MM in Jazz Studies from the University of Cincinnati, and an MFA in Music Production and Sound Design for Visual Media from Academy of Art University

Keisuke Kishi

Keisuke Kishi is a drummer and composer currently based in Hawaii, California, and New York. He was born in Hiroshima, Japan, in 1988 and began learning drums at the age of seven. At 20, he discovered jazz and was influenced by Tony Williams, Elvin Jones, and Art Blakey. He studied under Rikiya Higashihara, one of Japan’s leading professional drummers, and participated in various jam sessions. In 2009, he began his professional career in Osaka, and in 2012, he formed his own band, 3BAKU Trio. The band performed across the Kansai region at venues such as Mister Kelly's, Royal Horse, and Tower Records Japan. As a solo performer, he also played at Billboard Osaka and participated annually in the Takatsuki Jazz Festival.

Raised a classical pianist, Kurt Leege learned to read music at the same time he learned to read. By the time he was in high school he developed a desire to write music, but found himself trapped in his classical training. As a means to express the music in his head, he taught himself to play guitar and he's been doing that ever since. At Swarthmore College, he studied jazz with John Alston and later played in his jazz ensemble, among other more pop music projects. During this time he also developed an affinity for skronk guitar from listening to the likes of Sonic Youth, MBV and Robert Quine

The Majamisty TriO’s music synthesizes classical and jazz elements, and judging by audience reaction it’s a refreshing addition to the jazz music scene. The cooperation of pianist Maja Alvanović, leader of the trio, with the fantastic musicianship of Ištvan Čik (drums and percussion), Ervin Malina, (double bass) and Aleksandra Drobac Čik (guest vocalist) gives wings to this idea and brings it to full fruition. The appierence of Majamisty TriO in 2010 was followed by concerts in Studio ‘1’ of Radio Novi Sad within ‘Jazz Appreciation Month’ organized by the American Corner, also the 26th Jazz Festival in Valjevo and IX International Jazz & Blues festival Geza Balaz Gari in Kikinda, as well as several clubs in Novi Sad. Neil Nail Alexander

Keyboardist Neil "Nail" Alexander has been performing, composing and working professionally for 50 years. His musical craft extends from performance, compositon, arranging and production to live sound, modern dance and film.

Grants from NYSCA and Meet The Composer gave Neil the opportunity to continue building on his composing skills. In addition to teaching piano and keyboard lessons, Neil also teaches Master Classes in Synthesizer Programming and Music Performance Technology. He leads and composes for X Ensemble, a contemporary chamber ensemble.

As an active musician he has recordings and/or a performance history with a variety of groups and artists such as Joe Lovano, Bob Meyer, Rez Abassi, Corey Glover, Mike Keneally, Gunther Hampel, Karl Berger, Tony "Thunder" Smith, Tal Ross (P-Funk), Charles Haynes, Erik Lawrence, and many others.
