AMBERT SEPT is a conceptual project of the Russian jazz scene, a dynamic and bright collective led by the drummer Ignat Kravtsov. The band's main focus is a perpetual search - of the stories, ideas, sound, new colours for the emotional self-expression. Thus its name is not exactly about the month and time (A.S. first gig was performed in September), but rather about the harvesting, the moment to summarize one's musical discoveries and investigations and one's experience of life. It's about September as the real gold of summer, amber color leaves that fall from trees, warming the earth from the coming winter
