Alex started his musical career at age 3 while playing the piano and moved on to saxophone at 15, along the way he "dabbled" in trumpet, clarinet and flute. He realized that he could recognize many personalities from the saxophone, sweet and gentle to aggressive and bluesy. It can deepen your melancholy or lift you to a soothing plateau, which is indeed music of distinction. Alex was taught early in life that dreams are made to be fulfilled, and at the tender age of 12, decided that he would be a recording artist one day. His early musical inspirations include Beethoven, Bach and David Foster, then graduated to David Sanborn, Michael Brecker, Phil Woods, Gerald Albright, Sonny Rollins and Cannonball Adderley. His first release, an independently produced and self-titled album, Alex Walker, will leave an indelible stamp in the hearts of the listener
