MUSICIAN Born:

Adam Cohen

In a city where the best in the business have set the bar high for those that follow, Adam Cohen has aspired to follow in their footsteps. Along the way, he has found his own voice among the many gifted musicians in Los Angeles. A true "double-threat" on both acoustic & electric bass, Adam brings a wealth of musical knowledge and musicianship stemming from his many years on stage, in the studio, as a teacher, and on the road. His prowess on both basses has led Cohen to work with the likes of Ray Charles, Taylor Dayne, The New York Voices, Engelbert Humperdinck, David Benoit, Ernie Watts, Maxine Nightingale, Phil Upchurch, Eric Benet, and Mark Isham

All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, shelter in place and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary effort that will help musicians now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the bottom right video ad). Thank you.
