Buona parte delle composizioni in scaletta arrivano dalla tradizione e da grandi compositori brasiliani come Nelson Cavaquinho, Norival Bahia, Jacob do Bandolim, Sivuca e altri. A completare il concerto vengono eseguiti alcuni brani firmati del pianista ospite Jovino Santos Neto, brasiliano vero. Diamo il via alle danze.
In occasione del concerto documentato in questo album, registrato al celebre Yoshi's di Oakland, il gruppo è allargato da quartetto a sestetto con l'aggiunta del pianoforte di Jovino Santos Neto e le percussioni di Brian Rice.
