Rina Yamazaki

Rina is a jazz piano player and composer originally from Saitama, Japan. She is currently based in New York City. After studying at Kunitachi College of Music in Japan she was awarded a full scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Rina’s achievements include second place winner along with the Nu Jazz Agency’s Chico & Lupe O’Farrill Award for Best Original Composition during the Ellis Marsalis International Jazz Piano Competition 2018. She also won third place in the 7 virtual jazz club 2018 competition. She was nominated as “Jazz Artist of the year” by Boston Music Awards 2018
