Klezwoods: Oy Yeah!
La spiccata ballabilità, fra sagra paesana e una punta di sana goliardia, la perizia esecutiva, l'ottimo amalgama e la brillantezza cromatica, persino la breve durata del CD (poco più di mezz'ora), determinano un ascolto sicuramente piacevole, pur non potendo negare come tutto si arresti assolutamente in superficie, in un'esuberanza non di rado sconfinante nella saturazione, in una ripetitività di umori e situazioni anche troppo insistita.
Fra i momenti migliori del lavoro, citeremmo "Cuperlika," brano festoso come tutto il resto, ma forse con qualche spezia in più, e il dittico "Syrtos"/"Giant Jew," quest'ultimo, in particolare, per l'ottimo assolo di contrabbasso che lo attraversa.
