The 23rd international World Of Guitar music festival took place on September 15-18, 2020 in Kaluga, Russia. This year, during the final portion of the festival, Roman Miroshnichenko with his band and the 50-piece Moscow City Symphony presented a guitar show “My Best Songs", which included a number of compositions written by the award-winning guitarist. All were well received at a sold out Kaluga Philharmonic Hall.

“It was one of the most anticipated shows of my career after six months of quarantine. I hope the situation improves around the world and concerts resume soon," said Miroshnichenko, one of the premier guitarists of a new generation of jazz fusion music.

Roman Miroshnichenko has received 30 nominations with 10 wins in multiple international songwriting contests and music awards from 2010-2020 including four Independent Music Awards, 1st Prize in the USA Songwriting Competition, 1st Prize in the International Acoustic Music Awards, Honorable mention in the International Songwriting Competition and a 3-time Finalist in the UK Songwriting Contest.

Currently Miroshnichenko is completing his new album The Seventh Sense featuring Jennifer Batten, Paul Wertico, Gary Husband, Charlie Bisharat, Dominique di Piazza, Matt Laurant, Gumbi Ortiz, Frank Colon and Henrik Andersen. He's also preparing for a new recording with the Grammy-nominated jazz-fusion band CAB led by Bernard “Bunny" Brunel. Brunel is a French-born American 2-time Grammy-nominated bass guitarist who has played with jazz legends including Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, Natalie Cole, and Wayne Shorter.
