Will Régnier

Will Régnier is a Montreal-based Canadian drummer, composer and record producer. Since the beginning of his professional musical career in 2010, Will has established himself as a sought-after drummer, contributing to numerous records and tours, with a diverse array of artists. In addition to his impressive drumming abilities, Will has also made his mark as a composer, mixer and producer, overseeing the creation of several records. In 2014, William began a bachelor’s degree in jazz performance at Université de Montréal, where he studied drumming with Paul Brochu; he went on to obtain a master’s degree in jazz performance and composition in 2020. From 2011 to 2019, he was a vital member of Huis, a progressive rock band, contributing to three albums and several shows in Europe and Canada. During that period, he also played on Innerspace’s conceptual prog-rock album “Rise”. In 2021, Will cofounded the rock band In Sylva, a collaborative project with Thomas Polychuck, in which he acts as producer, composer and multi-instrumentalist. Their debut album “She” will be out on April 5, 2024. Looking ahead, anticipation builds for Will Régnier’s forthcoming solo venture. Scheduled for release on February 16, 2024, his album titled “Traces” promises to be a captivating exploration of alternative jazz.
