"It’s the first Saturday of the Birmingham Jazz and Blues Festival and the word is, ‘You must hear Nanna Carling’. [...] Her first
time in the UK made quite an impression, both in Edinburgh and in Birmingham and there’s no doubt we’ll see her back before long." – Ron Simson, The Jazz Rag (issue 187, autumn 2025)

"Her new album showcases her evolution as a vocalist, composer, and soprano saxophonist and represents her breakthrough onto the world stage. Melodies For Two will appeal to both traditional jazz aficionados and a broader jazz audience, and as always it thrills me to say that. [...] Romantic, warm, and skillfully crafted, Melodies For Two is a delightful listen that cements her as a rising star in the jazz world." – Joe Bebco, The Syncopated Times
