Dopo un paio di lavori orchestrali nei quali fondeva il jazz con altre tradizioni musicali, Roberto Bonati torna all'ambito più direttamente jazzistico capitanando un trio completato da due musicisti che sono spesso con lui anche in orchestra: il chitarrista Luca Perciballi e il sassofonista Gabriele Fava.
