Flut3ibe: Moiré
In questo album, registrato a fine 2010, il flautista veronese (che in anni recenti si è scoperto anche una passione parallela per il didjeridoo degli aborigeni australiani, qui prontamente ribadita) incontra i confratelli Michele Gori, verbano, e Stefano Leonardi, trentino, e con l'aggiunta di un trio ritmico compone questo Flut3ibe, che ripercorre brillantemente strade (e icone: vedi "To Be") largamente collaudate.
Gli episodi più originali (e quindi stimolanti) sembrano coincidere con l'iniziale "Plastic Vortex," a tripla firma (Benini/Gori/Leonardi), e appunto con la summenzionata icona coltraniana, intelligentemente "asportata" del trio ritmico e percorsa ricorrendo all'intero ventaglio flauto/flauto alto/flauto basso. Ovunque, sia come sia, tutti si muovono con perizia e assoluta padronanza della materia. Magari non nuovissima, ma di solidissima fattura.
