About the Album

The renowned arranger and bandleader Mark Masters first collaborated with legendary saxophonist Billy Harper on his 1990 album “Priestess.” Now the two have collaborated on an entire recording of Harper compositions creatively rearranged by Masters. The album shows the wide stylistic and emotional range of Harper’s music and features thrilling solos from Harper himself.
