Having hitting #1 at the iTunes Jazz Charts, performing at North Sea Jazz Festival twice, and drawing a huge audience while performing on Dutch National TV, Michiel Stekelenburg now returns to the stage with Trio Onoda. Nonetheless their traditional line-up of guitar-Hammond- drums, the trio does not walk the traditional path. Modern, dynamic and atmospheric compositions is what they offer, looking for common ground with contemporary composed music, at the same time not afraid of sharing some raw energy! Like the name suggests, Steroids is a powerful song, and a great vehicle for high energy improvisation!
