About the Album
Originally composed by Pete Malinverni for a dance collaboration in Rome, Italy, “Pulcinella,” is the first track from “Candlelight – Love in the Time of Cholera,” a collaboration between jazz pianist Malinverni and classical violinist Juliet Kurtzman. During this unprecedented period of upheaval, the two musicians came together to remind us that, as Malinverni says, “love and passion for life are two of the truly human things that can spark us to action and out of many, make us one.”
