About the Album
A virtuoso of Indian and Brazilian-Portuguese descent, New York City guitarist Bobby Rozario is a third-generation musician, mentored by his parents in Hindustani Classical music while thoroughly pursuing the sounds of jazz and blues. His blazing, idiosyncratic style interprets melodic lines of Raagas and blends them into captivating lines injected with Afro-Latin and jazz/rock/fusion vocabulary. His two albums to date are vast communal affairs, with numerous world-class musicians & singers each bringing their own soaring musical statements, creating joyful, sonically stunning sets of music. Healer is no different. Focused on the theme of healing and the spirit of oneness, they channel their diverse backgrounds and experiences to create melodies and grooves that deeply resonate with unity and hope. “…stellar contributions from a totally amazing cast…Heavy Latin and Afro-Latin rhythms will keep your ears, your feet and your heart fully engaged...” - Contemporary Fusion Review
