New Chapter is exactly what the title implies - I’m turning the page into a new era of my musical journey with a collection of original jazz. On the title track, I play a winding melody on my six-string bass over a driving samba groove, leading into enthusiastic solos from the whole trio. There’s a lot of energy and excitement on this track that captures the feeling I’ve got about my current - and future - musical explorations.
