About the Album

Homecoming was written in Brooklyn during the first summer of covid, when reality was uncertain and I didn't know if I'll be able to fly home for a visit, like I do every year. The song conveys the feeling I have when I go back to the place I grew up in, and see all the people and places that were once the only things I knew. Another gorgeous performance by this band I'm lucky to have on this new record, featuring a fun trade between Jonathan and Itai. Mark Whitfield Jr. (drums), Tamir Shmerling (bass), Jonathan Greenstein (Tenor) and Itai Kriss (flute).
