The Ginkgo Biloba leaf, an ancient tree from the Orient, evokes an idea of peace and serenity that is sought through every melody on the disc. This song, title track of the album, is in three quarters and has a song form. The theme is exposed by the sax and subsequently strengthened by the entry of the voices in section B which, through their vibrating, lead the listening to a more intimate dimension and in harmony with nature.
