About the Album

Jazz's rising star and Virginian native, Wyatt Michael and the Konrad Pazkudzki Trio imbue the 1928 classic "Button Up Your Overcoat" with a modern bounce.  It was written by the prolific team of DeSylva, Brown, and Henderson in 1928, and subsequently used in many motion pictures. One of the most memorable early recordings was by the voice of Betty Boop, Helen Kane.
