Landæus Trio: Greed Ruined It for Everyone

Nestled somewhere on the whimsical spectrum between the infectious grooves of Tom Tom Club and the nostalgic pulse of video game soundtracks, "Greed Ruined It for Everyone" stands out as a delightful highlight from Resilience. This captivating album, the latest from Swedish pianist Mathias Landæus, showcases his trio with Johnny Åman on bass and Cornelia Nilsson on drums. Together they prove there is still plenty of new ground to explore in this time-honored configuration. On this track, Landæus plays both the piano and the Suzuki Andes Melodica, an instrument blending the qualities of a keyboard and a flute, which brings an additional layer of originality to the trio's distinctive soundscape.

Here's a challenge: give this track three spins in a row. If you can shake its catchy melody from your head in under 24 hours, drop us a line and let us know how you did it!
