LSD-3: Labyrinth
Band versatile, nella quale gioca un ruolo decisivo Marcel Thomi, capace di spostare il centro stilistico dei brani proponendosi ora all'organo Hammond B3, poi al Fender Rhodes e al synth. Una serie di suoni sintetici che ben si amalgamano con le morbidezze melodiche di Raffaele Lunardi, il quale con grande naturalezza sviluppa melodie cantabili e riconoscibili. Michel Barengo si limita a costruire una solida impalcatura ritmica, affidabile e concreta, sulla quale si poggia la riuscita dell'intero lavoro.
In Labyrinth si susseguono diversi cambi di scenario, passando dalla psichedelia applicata al jazz mainstream di "Animals on Earth," al funky in senso stretto di "Snow Shoes," alla linearità priva di sorprese di "Happy or Happy," fino all'eleganza e alla profondità espressiva de "La nebbia".
Nella musica degli LSD-3 c'è molto spazio per gli effetti, per il ritocco della voce primaria, cosicchè la loro miscela risulta vincente a breve termine mentre cede il passo a un pizzico di stucchevolezza sulla lunga distanza.
