Marc Antoine: Hi - Lo Split
Hi-Lo Split contains eleven inspiring, captivating and soothing tracks. The title track is velvety smooth, a joy to the senses. "Silk And Steel sounds like an oxymoron, but that couldn't be farther from the truth. The tune is subtle yet strong, showing Antoine's luscious guitar at its finest. Saucing it up a little is "Cancun Blue, a little spice and everything nice with this very enjoyable track.
Continuing with the smooth and sultry sounds of Hi-Lo Split is "Forever, a beautiful ballad, perfect for kicking back with a loved one or just chilling out by oneselfas can be said for the entire collection. "Bossalectro infuses a touch of techno, for something a little different, with a catchy drumbeat and Antoine's guitar producing a wonderful marriage of sound. The album ends with the haunting and seductive "Tomorrow, both mysterious and familiar. "For A Smile, "Spooky, "Groovin' High, "Panacea, and "Voodoo Doll round out Hi-Lo Split all of which embody Antoine's excellence with the guitar.
Antoine once again gives his listeners a highly polished, thoroughly enjoyable experience with Hi-Lo Split. All eleven tracks offer something pleasing to the ear and to the soul, making this a gamble worth taking.
