From a New York City musician and educator realizing his dream with his debut album Aesthetic, we kick off today's show with saxophonist Aaron Bazzell. We follow that up with music by trumpeter Arturo Sandoval, who happened to be the first concert Aaron saw live. From there, show 759 showcases new music from Chicago's Susie Blue featuring Solitaire Miles and the Lonesome Fellas, Canada's Way North, Jackie Messina and Aaron Seeber. In between we listen to older tunes from Doc Cheatham, Una Mae Carlisle and Skip Peck. Finally, we conclude this hour of jazz with a great story and song from Kenny Washington. Enjoy the jazz, my friends.
