È questo l'approccio che i tre superbi improvvisatori utilizzano in Continuum (2012) - album che bissa il debutto omonimo su Rogue Art - lavoro costruito attorno a pochi elementi di base, spesso solo frammenti o poco più che ipotesi di suono e di ritmo. E quando viene meno la presenza forte di una melodia - la citata "Aware of Vacuity" - o di una struttura - la boppistica "Jamila" - l'inventiva, la padronanza strumentale messa la servizio della creatività prendono il sopravvento e consentono alla musica di decollare.
