In honor of the return of the Kansas City Jazz & Blues Fest after a 20+ year hiatus, we begin with a headliner of that October 4, 2025 day of music gems with the legendary Stanley Clarke with music off his 1993 album East River Dance. From there, we hop right into an Italian musician with deep KC roots in Roberto Magris with music off his new 2025 album Lovely Days. From there, we get into an eclectic mix of modern jazz from the likes of Nicole Zuraitis, Tom Cohen, Kelly Green, Mike Casey and Shawn Purcell. We also dig into some newcomers and great new albums from Caelan Cardello and Ron Seo. Finally, we close it all out with the talented modern jazz star Christina McBride with the "Cold Chicken Suite." Dig the jazz, my friends.Playlist
