Il Vertere String Quartet è un ensemble cameristico giunto al decimo anno di vita. Composto da quattro musicisti pugliesi di formazione classica, ha però di mira non già l'esecuzione di un repertorio classico, bensì - sulla scia di analoghe formazioni come il Kronos o il Balanescu - la sperimentazione in ambiti diversi.
