The acoustic jazz Matadors came together while its three members--multi-woodwind player Michael Sachs from Los Angeles, bassist Aaron Darrell from Virginia and drummer Jun Young Song from Seoul (Korea)--were simultaneously pursuing undergraduate studies through Berklee College of Music scholarships.
