The Norwegian-Swedish quartet Hot Four was founded by Norwegian vocal artist Andreas Backer as a vehicle for free-minded, free- improvised, free-chamber textures that float, obviously freely, between elements inspired by European influences, modern jazz and contemporary classical music.
