È il “Taoismo" ad influenzare l'immaginario musicale di Flippo spingendolo a rielaborare i testi di diciassette capitoli del “Tao Te Ching" inserendoli poi in altrettante composizioni originali. Le direzioni stilistiche in cui sono ambientati i brani vanno dalla bossa nova al rock passando dal tango alla samba e molte altre ancora.
