Non si scopre certo oggi che quella danese è una scena jazzistica fervida: sperimentale ed allo stesso tempo attenta alle tradizioni. Ascoltando l'ultimo lavoro in trio di Thomas Clausen, si ha conferma di quel giudizio. Lontanissimo dalle avanguardie, questo Sol riesce comunque a non risultare prevedibile, pur facendo largo uso di forme compositive convenzionali e di canoni del jazz mainstream.
