Album Description

'Tierra' shines a spotlight on the female songwriters of the Cuban countryside as well as on original songs by Estrella Acosta. Thanks to the creative collaboration of the musicians in our group Esquina 25 and the adventurous arrangements, ‘Tierra’ has become an album with its own character, in which elements such as improvisation and jazzy solos go together with respect for the Cuban rhythmic tradition and with elements such as the poetic form décima, which plays an important role within Cuban country music.
