Directed by Tom Nazziola, The BQE Project is an ensemble that plays live, original music to silent film and early talkies. The selections on "Film Music / Volume I" include excerpts from various film scores created by Tom Nazziola and performed live by the ensemble. Scores on this album have been composed for the following films: Buster Keaton’s “Sherlock Jr.,” Fleischer Studio’s cartoon “Fadeaway,” James Whales 1931 classic “Frankenstein,” and the German expressionist film “The Golem” by Paul Wegener.
