Album Description
“When I reached out to producers to sample the Adam Meckler Orchestra’s music, I gave very little direction. I wanted to meet each artist where they were individually, and then use their ideas to build completely new songs. This album was highly collaborative and would not be what it is without the contributions of the artists involved. For each track, I invited singers, rappers, and instrumentalists to overdub improvisations, write new parts, and play things that I had written over each song. The result is the most eclectic set of tracks I’ve put together for an album, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Many thanks to all of you who’ve supported me and my large-scale musical visions over the last two decades. I am filled with gratitude. Thank you to the artists on this album that I call collaborators and friends. You are all heroes.” This album was partially funded by an REF grant from Michigan Technological University www.adammeckler.com Copyright 2024 Meckler Music House
