Album Description

In a world where everything seems to rush past and there is no time for timelessness, we need moments to be still and to make peace with life, as for example, when we are looking out to the sea. Photographs capture those moments, they are both past and present, guardians of our memories... Moments of stillness are less and less, we are “forever doing” and forget “just being”. Instead of taking care of each other, of Nature, we witness cycles of destruction, thirst for power, for supremacy; we should not waste life as munitions are wasted in useless wars, we should be celebrating life because it does not repeat itself... at least not in the same way! Mário Franco
