Album Description

The premise: two musicians rendezvous in a Manhattan apartment. The instruments: a grand piano, a snare drum with brushes, and one microphone placed haphazardly on a whim. The selections: culled from The Great American Song Book/Tin Pan Alley canon. The approach: improvisations sans premeditated arrangements. The result: bound to tickle an ear or two, outright outrage, or at the very least get someone’s foot tapping.
