Blankrooms is a collective project that develops the compositions of Ivan Valentini and Andrea Cappi, whose writing is deeply rooted in the landscape of modern and contemporary jazz. Non-functional harmonies blend with modal influences, while structural asymmetries coexist with melodic flow on one side and driving grooves on the other.
