Album Description

A second solo soprano saxophone album by Adam Pieronczyk, this time from Mexico. Natural reverberation cascading in unforeseen directions, murmurs and air drafts accompanying the tones elicited from the saxophone; absolute silence within the chapel, combined with sounds from the street beyond the gate of the archaic Exconvento San Pablo – a former 16th-century Dominican monastery, which is located in the very heart of the city of Oaxaca. 35 miniatures, recorded here late in the evening and night, arranged on the album systematically: from shortest to longest.
