È lirico e sensuale nella sua "Enigmatic Night," funambolico in "Just in Time," guizzante nell'opener "Everything I Love" di Chris Potter, elegante in "How About You," e si lascia apprezzare anche nel lungo momento solitario di "King Arthur," dove lambisce atteggiamenti free. Il resto della band è di comprovata qualità, ma ci sentiamo di mettere l'asterisco vicino alla prova di Dino Rubino, apprezzato di recente con Cafiso anche nel loro Travel Dialogues.
Musica ispirata, musicisti in forma e sessione di registrazione curata nel dettaglio fanno di 4out un album godibile e meritevole di occupare un posto nella nostra discoteca.
