Aki Takase - Han Bennink: 2 for 2
C'è tutto in questo disco: imprevedibilità, articolazione e destrutturazione delle forme, poliedricità e virtuosismo. Prende così corpo un flusso vibrante, che ammalia grazie a sviluppi sorprendenti. In perfetto equilibrio fra la cura del dettaglio e la libera fantasia, le sedici tracce hanno tutte un sapore diverso all'insegna della poetica del frammento.
Ad unire idealmente questi due intrepidi esploratori della contemporaneità musicale concorre una disincantata ironia. In questo solco si tracciano avventurose strutture generate dall'empatico ascolto reciproco, oltre che dal guizzo inatteso. È un disco che piacevolmente elude le attese dell'ascoltatore grazie al programmatico rifiuto del duo di produrre pennellate monocromatiche. Oltre all'estro e l'intensità si respira palpabilmente un'intesa profonda, che va oltre la mera seduta d'incisione.
