Susan Tedeschi: Wait For Me
ByWhile the edge has been dulled on one side of the blade, it has been sharpened on the other. Tedeschi enlists a variety of top notch musicians from all walks of life to contribute to her music, including her husband and guitarist extraordinaire, Derek Trucks. She puts more of an emphasis on songwriting and remaining true to the identity of the song, rather than using it as a show piece for her incredible voice.
Don’t give up on Tedeschi. She’s still the real deal, but she has matured and thus as an artist she must progress. Wait For Me examines the soulful side of music and does a damn good job of it.
